Prior to ESAR congress the 20th to 23th of September 2023 in Nantes, France, a two-day teaching program is arranged for residencies under ECAR college. It is held at the Vet. School in Nantes, Oniris,101 route de Gachet, 44300 Nantes.

The program will be as following:
Monday 18th September:

Tuesday 19th September:
• 8:00-8:30: Final registration and welcome
• 8:30-9:00: Opening session by the head master of the university of Nantes
• 9:00-10:45: Session 1: Comparative reproductive anatomy
• 10:45-11:00: Coffee break
• 11:00-12:45: Session 2: Puberty
• 12:45-13:45: Lunch
• 13:45-15:30: Session 3: Estrus cycle, how to detect it
• 14:45-17:15: Mock exam
• 19:00 — Social dinner in the center of Nantes

Wednesday 20th September:
• 8:30-10:45: Session 4: Manipulation of estrus cycle
• 10:45-11:00: Coffee break
• 11:00-12:00: Session 5: Steroidogenesis
• 12:00-12:45: Preparation of cases
• 12:45-13:45: Lunch
• 13:45-15:45: Session 6 : Workshop : clinical cases
• 16:00-17:30: Mock exam debriefing

The fee for the summer school is 120 Euros and includes the welcome party on the 18th, lunch bags both days and social dinner in the center of Nantes on the 19th.
