  The Department of Clinical Sciences at Colorado State University seeks applications for a 12-month Tenure-Track or a 12-month Non-Tenure Track Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in Equine Theriogenology. Candidates will be considered for both Tenure-Track and Non-Tenure Track unless a preference is indicated in the cover letter. Applicants may specify the rank (Assistant Professor or Associate Professor) for which they wish to be considered. Opportunities for promotion and advancement are similar for both the Tenure and Non-Tenure faculty series. Salary range for Assistant Professor is $110,000 to $125,000 and the salary range for Associate Professor is $130,000 to $155,000. Salary, rank and start-up packages will be commensurate with the qualifications of the applicant.

The Equine Theriogenology faculty position will be housed at the Equine Reproduction Laboratory (ERL) located on the Foothills Campus of Colorado State University. The Equine Reproduction Laboratory has a long and storied history in the field of horse reproduction. The cornerstones of the program have always been dedicated basic and applied research, outstanding education for undergraduate, graduate and veterinary students, world class continuing education courses, and superior clinical service. We are looking for an exceptional individual that understands the value of this tradition, thrives on collaboration and can provide a vision and leadership for the future.

The Equine Reproduction Laboratory has state-of-the-art facilities and a strong clinical caseload. The unit has 2 ACT board-certified and 1 ACT (honorary) faculty, 3 DVM Residents, 2 Equine Breeding Farm Interns and an exceptional support staff. The ERL has close collaborations with the Animal Reproduction and Biotechnology Laboratory, Department of Biomedical Sciences, Equine Teaching and Research Center, Department of Animal Sciences, Translational Medicine Institute, Colorado Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, Infectious Disease Research Center, and the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Colorado State University.
