In compliance with B.3. of the Policies and Procedures of the European Board of Veterinary Specialization (EBVS), the European College of Animal Reproduction has established a system for regular re-certification of practicing Diplomates. Every five years, practicing Diplomates must provide evidence for their involvement both in the area of domestic animal reproduction and in the activities of ECAR during the preceding five years. They have to accumulate a minimum total of 100 credit points by participation in areas of research, educational or service activities. The credits have to be collected in at least 2 of these 3 activities, in various categories, as detailed within the attached excel. No credit points can be granted for education or training in non-scientific or non-evidence-based practice.
This excel must be completed so that you obtain a minimum of 100 points over a 5 year period. The excel must be uploaded via the members' area of this website and this is where the ERC will review and validate the submission. Please do not email it to the ERC chair as it will not be reviewed or kept on your record.
Currently, the online system requires two referees (name and email) to attest that your submission is truthful and that you are still conducting clinical work in the area of animal reproduction.

ECAR is trying to encourage annual fees to be paid via the members' area of this website. However, if it is required that you must pay via bank transfer the bank details can be sought by emailing treasurer@ecarcollege.org.
Please note that as receipt of bank transfer payments are handled manually by the treasurer, there will be a delay before your payment status on the website is updated and you will be able to receive a receipt.
